FTDI USB to Serial Breakout Board - VisiPort2

Designed, Assembled, Tested and Distributed in the USAThe VisiPort2 is a USB To Serial Module that has been designed to program Arduinos. Its small size allows it to fit into bread board where other programmers are too big and bulky. It is designed to program Arduinos. Its six pin female header connects easily to a Mini Pro with no bread board needed. It has one green LED that indicates power is applied to the FTDI chip. There are two amber LEDs to indicate when Tx and Rx are active. The VisiPort2 works with 5Volt and 3.3Volt Arduinos Use the three pin jumper in the upper right corner to select I/O voltage of the VisiPort2. This selection allows compatibility with all Arduinos. The VisiPort2 Uses a Micro USB Connector The Micro USB connector is lower profile and allows cables to connect into the center of the VisiPort2. This keeps the overall size smaller than any other programmer. The VisiPort2 has a Flexible Arduino Reset We gave the VisiPort2 jumper selectable DTR or RTS reset capability.

• USB To Serial Breakout Adapter. Uses the FTDI FT232R IC Chip. This USB to Serial Adapter is compatible with all +3.3V and +5V Microcontrollers, Development Boards and Digital Input/Output boards. It connects seemlessly with all Windows Laptops and Desktops and Linux Laptops and Desktops.
• The smallest physically possible footprint for any fully functional USB to Serial Breakout Adapter. The Six Pin 0.1 Inch Header includes Power (User Selectable +3.3V or +5V), Ground, RXD, TXD, DTR and CTS signals. The connector pinout is compatible with the Arduino Mini Pro. So, it connects to the Arduino seemlessly.
• The FTDI driver is compatible with all versions of Windows, Linux and MacOS. Download driver directly from FTDI website. The driver works perfectly with the VisiPort. It is completely Plug and Play. Just connect the VisiPort to an open USB port on the Laptop or Desktop, install driver and the VisiPort is ready to connect to your electroncis.
• The VisiPort2 can power your board up to 280 mAs at 3.3V or 480 mAs at 5V. There is a User Selectable jumper that allows this USB to Serial Adapter to be used with +3.3V or +5V applications. This power is available at the six pin 0.1 inch header on the adapter.
• The VisiPort2 has jumper selectable DTR or RTS reset capability. This allows the USB to Serial Adapter to power all Arduinos and provide programming capability. Just connect the VisiPort to an open USB port, install the driver, open the Arduino IDE, select the correct COM Port, then program your Arduino. Its that simple
