This SKF 3200-E series double-row angular contact ball bearing has a 30-degree contact angle, ABEC 1 precision, and C3 clearance. This Explorer class bearing is manufactured for a longer service life, higher dynamic load carrying capacity, and a higher precision rating than standard SKF angular contact ball bearings. The bearing's angular contact geometry supports both radial and axial loads and its bearing races are mounted back-to-back for increased rigidity and to accommodate angular misalignment. The running accuracy and performance levels for this bearing meet Annular Bearing Engineers' Committee (ABEC) 1 standard. The bearing has C3 radial internal clearance for radial slack between the inner and outer rings that is greater than CN (normal) to compensate for thermal expansion. This bearing has a non-contact metal shield on one side for protection against contaminants and is open on the other side for lubrication in place.
